Chicago REALTORS®’ Previous President Leo J. Sheridan Passes Away


Leo J. Sheridan, who served as president of the Chicago Affiliation of REALTORS® from 1974-75 and was a member of the board of administrators from 1968-74, handed away at 87 years previous on October twenty eighth, 2022.

He started his actual property profession in 1953 with L.J. Sheridan & Firm in industrial actual property. Sheridan was additionally concerned in a number of different organizations together with the Nationwide Affiliation of REALTORS® the place he served on the board of administrators from 1975-79; the 1982 Illinois REALTORS® President; The Recreation Basis; Chicago Council on Overseas Relations; Chicago Metropolis Membership; St. Joseph Church; and Catholic Charities Chicago Board.

Sheridan was acknowledged because the 1983 Illinois REALTOR® of the Yr and the Chicago Affiliation of REALTORS® 1990 REALTOR® of the Yr.

He’s survived by his spouse, Olive “Honey” (Fox) Sheridan, 5 kids, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In his honor, a memorial mass was held on November fifth at St. Joseph Church in Wilmette, Illinois. Donations could also be made to the John P. Foley SJ Legacy Fund in lieu of flowers.
